A beautiful Audemars Piguet Calatrava
In a previous thread, I mentioned my AP Nostalgia.
Her's another piece that makes me nostalgic.
Spider lugs, center seconds, needle hands, subtle Roman numerals and triangular markers: for me, every detail of this 35 mm AP Calatrava from the 1950s is exquisite.

I think it sold a few years ago in MCL auction. What is interesting of these watches is that they were highly finished (even among the vzss/vzas ones with the 19/20 jewel versions) and had shock abosrbers. It seems that these were exclusively sold in the ...

also the MCL watch did not have matchign case and movement no.s thus we know its a replacement case. here are some photos of it from the auction ...
