I think I like it.
Generally I’ve like the case design for this series, and this one seems to be in a smaller more wearable size which makes it interesting (in theory).
What is less appealing is that it is “just a tourbillon”. LOL
As for the intersection of fashion and watches, I really have no problem with design input and inspiration coming from outside the normal channels. If that source is from the fashion world it makes no difference to me as at the end of the day the watch (for me) will be assessed on whether I like it or not.
The last few decades has also seen a continual increases of cross over and collaboration design across all types of product.
Our watch world has been quite heavily (relatively) influenced by this.
Only Watch has seen two brands come together to produce / design one watch, outside actors (non brand employees) have been increasingly involved in design over the last decade or so (from Hodinkee and other platforms to the watch clubs and auction houses and even forums that compete with us here).
And individuality is prized. Be that a custom dial from Kari, Journe or Romain Gauthier just to mention a few.
We all want something that is ours, and so the more choice (prepackaged from the brands like this AP) or ability to customize (via the indies) the better. Just my 2 cents !

They are easily the most imaginatively original pieces that they make, and well worth the attention (and hype) they seem to receive fairly frequently.... Thanks a bunch for such an extensive pictorial report, I would not have otherwise seen it in such gre...

Looks really good on the first picture.
But the watch looks really big on many of the wrist shots, even though it is only 38.5 mm big, perhaps due to the way the strap is attached to the case. I don't really follow these Concept Watches but the very first one (CW 1) is quite interesting.
The line is very interesting indeed.
But the design is too far away from my personal taste, so I've never been seriously/personally interested in acquiring one of the references. Best, Emmanuel
Nice to see the concept in a "normal" setting...
I know the Concept is intended to be the most avant garde of the lineup - so seeing this more elegant implementation is a nice diversion. Hope there will be more next year when the Concept celebrates its next anniversary. Cheers Peter

the only thing that matters is whether we like the watch or not, and I agree that this one isn't bad at all. It's just not my personal type of watch. There are other collaborations, like with Matthew Williams (1017 ALYX 9SM), which I didn't like at all, b...
The ROC and RO are two lines which don't really compare, imo,

How long until a third-party strapmaker offers something similar for other watches?
