I would suggest if you are having a problem with the watch...
...to take it to your local authorized dealer and have it sent in for service. AP can diagnose the issue and advise on the options for fixing the watch if there is a mechanical problem. It is indeed disappointing when a new watch doesn't live up to expectations, but I don't think your experience is typical of Audemars Piguet, based on my ownership of the same watch and the experiences of several people I know.
I hope your issue is resolved and you can go back to enjoying the timepiece. I personally like my 15300 very much.

It's a hand made mechanic device of considerable complexity. From time to time things go wrong and the manufacturer fixes them. If you don't like that then the best solution is a quartz watch where only the battery fails every so often.
