My 1 yr old AP watch went dead twice within a week. Very disappointed with the brand. Don expect such prestigious watch to stop moving twice in a week.

...to take it to your local authorized dealer and have it sent in for service. AP can diagnose the issue and advise on the options for fixing the watch if there is a mechanical problem. It is indeed disappointing when a new watch doesn't live up to expect... 

Thank u but personally I very disappointed and even wanted to buy the AP Chrono. As for now, no more AP.

the AP 15300 black dial as my first AP and came across this posting while doing some search. Now I have to find out more on the reliability of its movement and if it is worth the value.

If you counted the number of satisfied 15300 owners on this site alone vs. those who have had problems you might arrive at a truer perspective. A few people post great pictures and are real ambassadors for the brand and model, a very small view complain p... 

Yes I understand but if u spent so much on a watch n it gives u problem after a yr, will u trust the brand. For me is no no. If it is some cheap watch, I son bother.

It's a hand made mechanic device of considerable complexity. From time to time things go wrong and the manufacturer fixes them. If you don't like that then the best solution is a quartz watch where only the battery fails every so often.

Yup but I have a tag watch for 4 yrs n I pay 1800 n still working vs 13000+ for ap n spoil after a yr +??? will u be super disappointed?

And be happy with your TAG - no shame in that.

Can you tell the serial number. I have a 15300 and have had few problems with it (I can detail you all of them if you want). Mine is from the F serie. NUFAN

is alright cos i sent for servicing n jus took back my watch. something wrong with the hair spring. cheers. anyway, i wont buy ap again. luckily cos i almost buy the chrono model.
