The size and weight have held me back
It's very frustrating because I think this is SUCH a cool watch. I've tried ROO Divers over and over again because I'm so attracted to them, but I just can't make them feel right on my skinny wrist. More power to you!
It is of course essential that the watch fits the wrist.
I am lucky that my wrist shape fits this watch very well ( I have other much smaller watches that are incompatible with my wrist ....).
AP Divers
My first AP was a 15710 Diver, and it is a great summer/vacation/sunshine watch. But it is still an Offshore. And that means chunky. That being said, I've had many Offshores that have come and gone, but I always come back to having one. Wear in good healt...

I really love the ROO in 42mm, in all variations. I've had 3 in total in the past, but it doesn't really sit great on my wrist, not totally comfortable. But still great for certain occasions. I do miss them all, specially my old white Rubberclad.
The rubber strap really makes the difference.
It makes the watch to wrap comfortable around the wrist : so much better than the wrist fighting AP leather straps and bracelets.
I agree, and I've tried them all: deployable and buckle, wider and thinner, leather and rubber...
I actually still have some leftovers at home 😅 Maybe it's simply not for me (unfortunately)...
