AP ref 25643 in YG Aka the “Sun-Ray” tourbillon from the 1980s. Rare and quite unknown reference from AP, but still very historically important......This was the first ever automatic tourbillon watch made, and the thinnest at under 5 mm! A record it maintained for nearly 30 years (1986 - 2015) until it was finally beaten by Bvlgari in 2015 (and later Piaget).

I remember a few years back the prices were quite low for "holy Trinity" Tourbillon, now, amateurs seem to have gained back interest on this piece, well done for securing one, definitely a rare one !
Amateurs like me are finally able to procure one..... Jokes aside, though - i have been aware of this for close to a decade. They rarely showed up for sale and the ones that did, were mostly always presold or in auctions.
