is it about the dial, or the complication that i see now ,the very possitive reactions about the Millenary? I have to admit, the ones now shown on SIHH are stunning, and even when i thought the maserati line was okay, i would not have bought one myself. T... 

i have only seen about 5 millenary watches, and only one of which was on some one's wrist! i think that AP is starting to care a little more about their other watches, and theyre doing a wonderful job at it. personally, i was not really fond of the millen... 

Hi Michel, It may well be that it takes time for a new line to permeate the consciousness of collectors. Or it may be a fashion shift away from round watches (are we seeing other shapes becoming more popular?), or it could be, as you suggest, that AP are ...

it really uses the unique design features of the Millenary and its ovoid shape, and gives us watch geeks what we want - techno satisfaction with bridges, plates, and whirly thingamabobbies (in this case, the balance, but executed in a way that is not cont... 

The reality is that the Millenary line has not tempted AP collectors or other watch enthusiasts who might walk into a store and want to look for a new watch. The Maserati Dual Time hooked me when it was introduced, but the dial is still rather polarizing....
