This is as close as I’ll ever come to a ceramic AP.
The first thought that came to mind was whether there has ever been a documented case of misallocation 🤔. I seriously did not see this coming because I had respectfully declined the offer of a titanium piece, which is also very cool but too similar to another ti ROO of mine. I’ll admit that this black ceramic piece in particular had struck a chord when I first saw it announced because I had missed out on getting one of the all-ceramic ROOs that we’re being offered a few years ago, albeit with seemingly low production.
Regardless, I’ve been going through the process of downsizing and consolidating my collection to be more practical about what I have/keep, and to generate funds for any ‘Hail Mary’ allocation requests from the past 1-2 years that may come through. So, my watch funding account was actually back in black for a bit, until this black beauty showed up🤷🏽♂️

Thankfully I’m not in the red either, as I broke even. I know these music edition pieces may be polarizing, with many people not interested…which is why I thought I may have a chance 😳. But the black ceramic really did/does speak to me given that it is relatively subtle and versatile compared to the beautiful Ti variant, yet without trading off any of the ‘fun’/playful character that inherently makes this piece special to me.

Sincere thanks! As whimsical as it is, this is a piece that actually helps the process of taming ‘the OCD dragon’.
As part of the process, thankfully I have been paring down my collection which provided the funds, but there is more to do. Must…stay…focused! 😊
I feel it's the best AP has done in quite some time modern style-wise.
They hired a designer who used AP's aging preset dial form to follow an artistic FUNction. This model is the closest i've cove come to wanting an AP. Still a pass, as am more a modern Bvlgari type of guy and desire 100m WP rating, yet still, nice to see A...

Love funky, whimsical timepieces as much as the classic Rolex Submariner (no date of course.😎 ). Really love this Music version, especially the black combo. Hopefully musicians, DJs, etc buy it and wear it as a daily. 👍

and frankly, given that is an AP, we both know that is not likely to drop in value (of course that is not the purpose of buying a watch but..) I found it special without being too loud. Is also very cool, different and I doubt that many will be delivered....
