What will be or what was your first AP??
Daos started a terrific thread recently on "Dream AP's". Certainly lots of good models in there.
It made me wonder, how did current AP fans officially enter into the brand, and for those who plan on their first AP, which one are you thinking of?
Mine was the silver rubberclad. I lusted for that watch for a long time, and when I finally acquired it, it vastly exceeded expectations. In retrospect, it was certainly my first real "high end" timepiece. The following photo is a bit legendary from the days of thePuristS. It was snapped on my honeymoon in Maui in May of 2003. In fact, I still remember my post title "Basking in the Maui Sun" (which was a reference to an all time favorite movie of mine, The Running Man).

...and I think you can't go wrong with a Royal Oak. For good, or ill (depending upon your perspective), the Royal Oak (and ROO) has become the signature collection from Audemars Piguet. Cheers, Daos
