Without a toolset for winding an setting the time/date I‘d probably never wear the 15202 :-)
I‘d actually go for one of the gold versions to add to my collection (even though I‘ll of course never get one. There isn‘t even an AP House around)
Love the fact, that they didn‘t change the dimensions and it‘s pretty much the 15202 with a new heart and changes in the detail. Well done for that.

But not a fan of the way they included 50 in the rotor. Id rather have it written on the standard oscillating mass in some other way, in the style of the coat of arms. Prices at launch: Ref. 16202 $33,200. Ref. 16202 - $70,500. Ref. 16202 - $70,500 16202....

Maybe they're actually good to 100m, but since it's the 50th anniversary AP had to stay on message
If we're still alive & kicking in 2072, we'll see the editions for that year will have 100m cases. Just you wait 😹
I do believe
50 is enough for swimming and showering. It is not like I am going 10 bars down anyway, but it would be nice as other brands have it. Guess we just have to wait until 2072 lol!

That rotor
is fit for a Nascar... apart from that, the whole package looks good but not uber creative

Only One I was ever offered was the diamond bezel which I’m not a huge fan of. I like the updates. But no they are not available 🙄

Yes. I am hoping for some comments about movement finishing.
At this price point, I'm expecting Geneva Seal level quality finishing. No wire spring parts. And generally a top quality movement akin to Vacheron Constantin and Patek Philippe.

...on the steel version? Sounds cheap to me. Not that I'll ever come close to one, of course. I don't know, pretty boring release to me.

The 16202 is lovely, absolutely gorgeous, wonderful... but that rotor... in fact the rotors of ally ROO and this one are not up to the rest of the watches...
