Even if it never was considered a proper Porsche. Even Ferry, when driving the prototype the first time responded with, ‚Der schiesst net‘ (it doesn’t shoot).
At the same time it was a very nice GT and a nice car. There’s even a Frenchman who drove one around the world and recorded theorized on social media.

It was initially even considered a replacement…
But that was not to be 🤷🏻♂️ The owners did not evolve as much as the management back in the day anticipated…
My high school buddy's dad had one 1980s.... we called it The Frog (in green).
Handled nicely, felt nimble... not that we, you know, joy rided it or anything like that as high school kids.
