But Mon Ami...
But Nico, the BMW M3/M4 I was referring to is also a GT car...
Think about it this way. The BMW M3/M4 has two doors, seats four comfortably, and has a big boot for luggage. It is a true GT car, it's just not sold nor marketed as one.
Need more proof? The M3/M4 seats four more comfortably than the BMW 6 series (how that makes sense, I don't know, but the 6 series has smaller legroom despite being an overall longer car). The M3 has similar trunk space as the BMW 6 series.
The Audi A5 is also a true GT car (like the M3), it's just not marketed as one because "Grand Touring Cars" are supposed to have "le grand price tags" of around 100,000 Euro! How would a BMW 6er client feel if the 435i client was told his car was a Grand Touring car?
Oh, and the BMW M3/M4 seats 4 persons more comfortably than the Jaguar, is quieter and just as smooth as the Jaguar, and also has a bigger trunk than the Jaguar XKR!
