"...these cars are mechanically unreliable and absolute rustbuckets"
Hi Georges,
How are Miuras mechanically unreliable, vis a vis other highly tuned high strung high performance cars pf the period?
Let's start out with baselines, I am neither agreeing nor disagreeing with you at this point.
"...& absolute rust buckets"
Again, not agreeing nor disagreeing, but how are Miuras more rust prone (not in theory, in fact) than other similarly priced similar target market cars of the period?
About trying to convince me about American car handling - I know what i know (owned or driven 60's and 70's Ford, Chevy, and MOPAR products, including many you mentioned) but I certainly am willing to consider other points of view or the possibility that I just didnt like the way they rode or handled but they in fact ie on a technical track or on g-meters are equal to or better than their euro equivalents.
But let's save that for another discussion, please address the mechanically unreliable and absolute rust bucket comments first (especially as you, in an immediate follow up, mention the Ghibli and Merak in a positive context)
Cheers,
TM
