I gotta admit, I love adding "Toyota 4Runner" to the names of the other vehicles listed on this forum!! Technically this is not the first edition, as I have made some posts about the truck and offroad trails before. But it is the first time posting a trai...

I actually mounted them in the spring, ahead of some anticipated trips we had planned. I ran them the whole summer until the recent change but never hit the trails with them. They have a Dupont kevlar lining on the sidewalls and tread, which is much more ...

yet never go offroad. You can tell with a quick visual inspection - no scratches and scrapes = no offroad trails near the vehicle's capability!

Toorak being an upmarket posh inner city Melbourne residential suburb. They don't go bush but are just mums' taxis to ferry their kids to private schools LOL. Cheers,dreamer

The best part for me is that my Family loves it too.

Recently drove off road myself for my first time (just a 30 minute test drive at the Land Rover off road course school in Carmel). It was a short experience, but very informative - I hope I don't start a new hobby. But it is an intoxicating moment, where ... 

But learning every time. The key to offroad is angles and traction. Better to really plan ahead of an obstacle than get into it without knowing what to expect. I want to take a class with a real expert. I'm sure my truck will do a lot more than I am prese...

I think a little truck content is fun to mix in with all the high ends and exotics typically posted on the Automotive forum.

Truthfully, I avoid mud when possible. It is fun, no doubt, but requires such a thorough under carriage cleaning after play it is not worth it. Now if I "have" to go through, the 4Runner is pretty awesome at it.

Cool post .There is something special and magical about the bush. We used to have a Subaru Forrester GT ( detuned WRX boxer 4 turbo engine for max. torque in lower ) and a Subaru Outback ( boxer 6 normally aspirated ) for our family outings including the... 

My first car was an 84 GL, and while it saw little dirt, that front wheel drive was awesome in the snow. Only the low clearance slowed it down. Outbacks are very popular in Colorado. I do plan on getting out more. It is cooler and raining heavy today, and... 

...all the dings and scratches are like the ones on our vintage watches... well-earned and treasured.

Instead of just seeing scratches, I instead remember being with my Family on a trail where it came from :-)

I loved every day of my life for 5 years as i took the dogs up into the forestry. I went the suzuki route for financial reasons and the fact that the toyota 4runner isnt available here. Also i dont like landrovers. I'd love to spend a day or 2 offroading ...
