I know you're a Porsche lover. And I used to be one. But once you understand the mechanical difference between a MacPherson Strut and a Double Wishbone... You'll never want a MacPherson Strut again. It's like owning a chronograph with a cam system instead of a column wheel control system. One is inferior, and no high end brand uses a cam system. I'd even go as far as to say... It's like a watch with a mineral glass crystal and a watch with a sapphire glass crystal. I've never owned a watch with a mineral glass crystal (maybe my Casio G Shock when I was a kid?) but I imagine once you go sapphire, you don't go back to mineral glass.
