Is the carbon rear glass only for the purpose of dropping weight? Isn’t the inability to see behind you through a back window problematic, even on a track? (assuming with other cars)

And to add some extra fresh air to the engine.

Interesting. So there is no way for this to be driven on the street or highway…at least legally.

Strangely, it has the homologation to be driven on our roads. Not for the track only.

Very cool, amazing they still found places to shave weight, love the commitment of deleting the rear window with a carbon hatch, though I wonder at what cost. Carbon fiber wheels aren't cheap...

That's the way I modified mine. Door cards are an excellent idea, the exhaust, too. The funny thing is that I have the same performances ( max speed apart ), but in a different way.

I'm with you on this approach, love what you've done with your Alpine! I'm the same, other than wheels all my car mods can't be seen ;)

And this is not the end. I am, right now, at around 90%. There is still some work to do, such as a discreet lip on the front, a more efficient fuel pump, and the rest is all about the interior...

I think the Luxury Legende version is more suited for me, these track versions are always cool to look at and admire

I think your car is the perfect balance, Alpine should take notice and launch a Nico Edition :-)

The balance is what I am looking for. Not and easy but a funny game. ;) As for the Nico Edition, I hope mine will sty unique. :-)

What is the price of the A110 R?

105 K euros plus 2, 000 Eco tax, + around 1500 tax. The original price is high... Don't forget cars are less expensive in the US... Much less expensive.

Yes, cool and light detail; 12, 5 kilos less heavy than the normal rims of the S.

What do I think? Designed by a 17-year-old boy, to photograph and put on his bedroom wall. The 'Sans R' could have been modified simply and elegantly without the silly toys.

I understand, of course, but in the real world I'd rather have yours than the R. Apart from anything else, it would be embarrassing to drive the R to work.

And not that practical, with no retro vision... And to tell you all, I prefer mine. I still have to make some minor improvements, now, and to work on the interior, too, but seriously, I prefer how mine is.

The different wheels are due to an aerodynamic reason. Now, aesthetically, I prefer having the same wheels on the front and rear, of course. As for the comparison with the Alonso edition, I prefer this one.

I hope you'll get yours, mon ami. You know how fantastic it is. As for mine, I am 90% from the end of my program....

Not sure if I will ever get one.
