Its definitely a watch that needs to be appreciated in the metal...
and like you, you will be impressed by its technical excellence and (of course, depending on taste) aesthetic appeal. The collection is intended to attract a young clientele, thus the powerful design. Particularly the dial emphasises one core element of Blancpain's philosophy: fantastic 3D dial work.
Its certainly a new avenue for Blancpain and it will be exciting to see how they will fare here.
As I said, the L'Evolution collection has many ingedients to make it a winner.

I had a chance to see up close the new L-Evolution, 8 jours..... although I did have some doubts when it was introduced... when I saw it in metal i have to admit that it is quite impressive..... it is extremely well made.... the finishing is excellent.......

I have had the pleasure of seeing the new Blancpain watches in person and I personally find the dials to be much too avantegarde for my tastes. The Aqualung was a nice blend of classic Blancpain watch with a modern twist. And I would wear an Aqualung. How...
