Blancpain

I had a chance to see up close the new L-Evolution, 8 jours..... although I did have some doubts when it was introduced... when I saw it in metal i have to admit that it is quite impressive..... it is extremely well made.... the finishing is excellent.......  

and like you, you will be impressed by its technical excellence and (of course, depending on taste) aesthetic appeal. The collection is intended to attract a young clientele, thus the powerful design. Particularly the dial emphasises one core element of B...

It was a total shocker for me when I saw the first pictures from last year's Basel show, and it still is a shocker for me today after an entire year. I'm not a fan of the L-Evolution design and feel Blancpain tried too hard to create a young, sporty look.... 

saw it photos I also did not like it..... but in metal...... I still have some reservations..... but the quality of the dial and the calibre are certainly winners..... cheers

I have had the pleasure of seeing the new Blancpain watches in person and I personally find the dials to be much too avantegarde for my tastes. The Aqualung was a nice blend of classic Blancpain watch with a modern twist. And I would wear an Aqualung. How...
