Blancpain

Something not normal here

I have looked at your photos.  Things seem strange.  Let me go through the list.  First this is not a current production watch.  Indeed, if memory serves this watch most likely would have been produced more than 8 years ago, more likely 12 years ago.  Was this strap on the watch when you bought it?  You say the strap was new in April; does this mean that you added a "new" strap to an old watch?  Where did you buy the strap?  A dealer?  Second, I have seen many hundreds of Blancpain straps.  I have never seen that occur if the strap was "never wet".  Never.  Blancpain sources its straps from the finest suppliers in the world.  A new strap simply does not deteriorate like that from normal use in a few months.  I own many Blancpain watches and I find the straps hold up with the very best in the industry--no exceptions.

So I am sorry to say that your portrayal of events raises more questions than it answers.  Something here does not add up.
