I sent a 3787 to Breguet because the retrograde date hand was not returning to 1. 18 weeks, and 4K later, there is still a problem with the retrograde function; the watch started losing up to 5 minutes a day; and then the watch just stopped running altogether. It's back with Breguet after only a week on my wrist.

Having an issue with the year hand? You mentioned needing push it 1000 x?
there are only two pushers, so to set the watch you have to push it as much as (4*365)+1 times to get to the right date!
since i posted that, I went through the ritual.... and (ARGH) there were no 28 or 29 day months so it will have to go to Valle de Joux.... It's really easy to break these puppies if you try to set the dates any hour close to midnight! at least then the ye...

Ouch. I had to send my wife’s watch back
after the first service as I was not satisfied with the repolishing of the bracelet. The second time it was better but far from perfect…
ooh, that hurts. When I sent my 3787 in, it kept perfect time - +/- 1s. When it came back, +7s.... and I had asked them to pay particular attention to that.... "in spec" ugh...
I hear they're working on improving the service experience at least here in the US. I hope they are successful.

alas, there are just two buttons - one for days (and as a function of that, months and year) and the other just for the day of week.
