This one was touch & go for me.
Apart from a few G-shocks, I have never owned a quartz watch until this came along. Watches have become more of an accessory for me these days and I like variety, so this fits a certain playfulness when the mood strikes. It's versatile, comfortable and requires no setting. With an autonomy of 8 years of battery life, it's an easy piece to pick up and go. No regrets.

Why does it need to be a quartz? There are great mechanical models.
Consider the Santos Dumont. Small and large sizes are quartz, while the Xlarge is mechanical (but not really XL on the wrist).
