the choice of Roman numerals doesn’t do them any favors. We shall see but I personally don’t think this line will age well. For me it’s too derivative to be iconic. I think about watches from a vintage perspective.
This watch for me
Is not sporty And is an amalgamation of other brand ideas without its own identity. That’s not to say it shouldn’t be enjoyed by others or has no redeeming qualities, it just does nothing for me.
I totally agree with you mon ami. I like the AE series, but when this one came out in 2023, it is AE that I had to have.
It's so good in many aspects. The movement, dimenstions, bezel width, the monte rosa pink, and NO date. I do like the looks of the new platinum with central seconds. But platinum $$$. Ouch. I am very happy with this one. ...
