the choice of Roman numerals doesn’t do them any favors. We shall see but I personally don’t think this line will age well. For me it’s too derivative to be iconic. I think about watches from a vintage perspective.

I totally agree with you mon ami. I like the AE series, but when this one came out in 2023, it is AE that I had to have.
It's so good in many aspects. The movement, dimenstions, bezel width, the monte rosa pink, and NO date. I do like the looks of the new platinum with central seconds. But platinum $$$. Ouch. I am very happy with this one. ...

But I'd love to see the no-date, no-small seconds platinum variant, which might be even more attractive for me. And for color reasons, I still love the grey dial variant, even if it has a date and no 96 micro rotor... I wish you a wonderful holiday time i...
