It was an ombre dial. The center was lighter than the edge. This isn't well captured in the photo. But it was stunning. I also like how they adapted the Geneva Seal 96-series movement with the swan neck spring; they adapted this movement to become a cente...

I still really like the standard Alpine Eagle with the Navy and Grey dial. What a nice watch. I even like the date and the central seconds! I will soon be visiting a friend who has a blue one!

I’ve always been a fan, these variants are especially nice. A night with these and 2013 Cristal…an epic event!

I was quite possibly the only person who noticed the wines. Our host made no mention of it - the classy thing to do. Half of the guests didn't even indulge, and likely none of the guests noticed the wines. A small number of the guests who knew me recalled... 

2013 was fabulous. I bought a case of 2015 and recently opened the first bottle…top notch as well. Likewise I hope we can cheers with a nice bottle sometime.

As I'm not a big Porsche-phile anymore. But they've been partnered with Porsche Racing for over a decade. I don't know if the partnership was continuous or if there were lapses. Remember the fairly recent Porsche 919 Le Mans race car? That was plastered w... 

But, I am not sure if they have had other partnerships since then. I believe this was 2014. ...  

Good memory! I'm not sure neither. And I thought the 919 was more recent than 2014! Maybe Chopard is not affiliated with Porsche anymore.

This was a very good read. What I appreciated most is that you focused on the things owners actually notice, not just the specifications brands like to print in bold. The bracelet micro adjustment alone makes this more useful than most launch coverage. I ... 

I call it "Pragmatic Passion" - it has to be a piece that I'm passionate about, and it's even better when there are some real pragmatic benefits surrounding the product. I hadn't found a lot of coverage about the new bracelet micro-adjustment on Chopard's... 

I requested the champagne XPS when it was presented at W&W. I like the watch itself, however, the rose dial didn't work on my skin. Guess that it will arrive in some months and then maybe I will become a XPS owner as well.

*Eagle Call/Screech* It really is a fantastic watch. I like it much more than the Vacheron Constantin Overseas.

Extremely helpful, especially with the updated Alpine Eagle bracelet and the micro-adjustment feature. Do you know if Chopard with offer the bracelet to those of us that acquired the AE XPS with the Monte Rosa dial? Hope all is well! HAGWE?🥂
