My honest thoughts....my heart is still with mark 1.
I feel the quattro version IV has a better shaped crown, lugs and case. But mark 1 is significantly thinner just under 9mm, 38mm...my wrist is barely 16cm.
More importantly...the dial for both the original versions of 1860 and 1863 were 18k gold, with engine turned guilloche, and the circular brushings of the silvered sector make the 18k gold dart shaped hour markers look like they're actually floating. The 3 D effect is amazing. Also I prefer the dauphine hands in the original version. They cut no corners here...Chopard were showing the world what they could do back then.

What a beautiful and classy looking Chopard L.U.C 1860.
That dial colour is just beautiful and I am really fond of the dart hour markers and hands Chopard uses on these watches. Marc

Wears beautifully thin...just around 10mm. Good heft, and very legible, except the date bit. Fantastic accuracy too... +1.5 sec per day right up till day 8! How does your micro rotor hold power reserve? Rishikesan
