The gold L.U.C 1860 XPS has the higher specification/price movement (formerly known as cal. L.U. C 1.96) whereas the steel L.U.C has the equivalent to the cal. L.U.C 3.96. The big difference in price is not reflected in an equally big difference in the qu... 

it being too thin for the general daily dress/ casual watch buyer... and 40mm making such a thin watch seem too wide, potentially... But this looks to be an absolute super smash to me. Front and back.

THe date is anything but disgracious, and it is of course an element whose placement is now integrally associated with L.U.C since the 1996 release of the Cal. 1.96, Nicolas. It is elegant, and quite useful, and I celebrate this release as a recognition f... 

What a beautiful pattern on the dial! I've seen this kind of finishing of De Bethune for I forgot what DB model it was.
