1994 Reverso Répétition Minutes vs ...
Not sure if this is the right place to pose this question...
Recently, I came across a 1994 Reverso Répétition Minutes with box/paper in good condition. I am fascinated and excited as a big JLC fan who at this point doesn't own any Reverso. I stupidly traded my Reverso Squadra Chrono and Platinum Number 1 away... Anyway, it has also always been a dream to get my hands on a minute repeater. Now that I found one in the form of Reverso, I still cannot believe my luck.
However, I just finished a streak of watch purchases... Not sure if I can justify shelling out more cash for another watch at this point. I have two options:
1. I wait patiently and hopefully when the time is right, there is another Reverso Répétition Minutes for me to purchase, or
2. I trade in my Glashuette Original PanoRetroGraph WG for this Reverso.
The logical me wants to wait, but the emotional me wants that Reverso NOW.
Please talk some sense into me! Thank you in advance.

I am assuming
that you have listened to the Reverso minute repeater because it is not very loud! But if you are fine with it, that is all that matters.

I am aware of the loudness or lack of of this particular MR. Nevertheless, I should make a trip to the dealer if I decide to purchase it.
Probably better wait until you are ready for one.
Even tho not many were produced, 500 to be exact. There always seem to have one or two available on the market at any given time. So unless you are offered a really good deal or the ltd edition number has a special meaning to you, I don’t see why you need...

Reverso Repetition Minutes is a rare bird
Produced in a limited edition of 500, the Reverso Repetition Minutes is a timeless classic piece with a form movement. The chimes are not loud but beautiful tone and correctly spaced.
I would keep the Panoretrograph, for what it is, a quite unique chronograph. And I would wait to get a Reverso Minute Repeater. But I would really consider getting one.

was I gave her a listen by finding a clip on YouTube. She was fascinated by it. She used to despise rectangular watches, but this one got her attention. Haha
