Thought I would share 2 recent acquisitions... Patek 2508 in steel .unfortunately the pics don't show the lovely 2 tone dial and the watch needs to be serviced by Patek as you can see the hour markers need a bit of a clean.This one is from 1963 with the classic 27 SC calibre. The second,the 3417 Anti Magnetic Silvered dial from 1961.Apologies for the lone hairy wrist watch but i sent the watch off to Patek before taking the images like the 2508. Nether are in the vein of the vintage Pateks I normally collect (from a design perspective,with unusual cases,lugs,etc) but I guess the taste buds are evolving with age!! I see these as being classic non-complication time pieces and like them for the dial layout harmony and simplicity. Thanks to the Forum members I consulted for advise on these two. Roni
