The Geophysic has the advantage of being ALSO a Chronometer, the Patek has a better decorated movement.
Both are 35 mm big.
Both are highly desirable.
One is more macho, maybe, while the other, the Patek, is more refined. Two characters!

How did their amagnetic properties compare? Geophysic 1958 tribute has 600 gauss protection (less than the modern milgauss, but I do not know what the original rolex milgauss was, but it was not 1000 gauss either!), which I believe is same as the original...
Two great watches with two totally different price points now. Vintage Patek's continue to command a different rate of growth to other manufacturers and I have often wondered why this is,
especially considering that JLC one made the movements for all of the holy trinity..
Those dials and especially the way the names are printed are quite unique

The Patek calatrava more refined and quite versatile. While the Jaeger will be more sporty and less formal not very versatile compared to the calatrava. My opinion. Best. Geross.

I think they're both stunning. I love the lugs and the Bauhaus feel of the Patek. But as a JLC fanatic, geophysic occupies an elevated, unique place in my heat and imagination.
That being said, I remember when Baron first posted after getting the amagnetic Patek. What a watch!
