3700 condition assessment
Hello,
Appreciate the challenges in assessing a watch without seeing it but given the extensive knowledge here was keen to get some thoughts as to the condition of the case on below 3700 (bracelet has been polished in a recent PP service as can also be seen in one of the photos in terms of difference to case). It has a fair bit of scratches and minor dings but appears to be a relatively strong case (allegedly from first owner)?
Secondly, papers are dated 1983 but appears to be a type 2 dial according to the MSTANGA guides as far as I can tell but presume this may be due to sale taking place later than production as it’s a 3700/1 (wider bracelet)? Any thoughts on this topic would also be much appreciated (only seen the service papers not the originals at this stage).

For me the key question is why did Patek work on the bracelet but not the case and bezel ...
