Dress Watch Input
Hello All- curious on your input for a dress watch. Starting a very exciting new chapter in my career and would like to celebrate that. I have a few front runners in mind but purposely leaving them off to prevent any potential bias. A few items of criteria below. Thanks in advance, looking forward to some recommendations.
1) $12k VERY top of budget, preferably 10 or under
2) has a complication other than date or small seconds only (or high beat)
3) preferably new

JLC has a few on my high list, this included. I have never felt comfortable with the rectangle case shape on my wrist but certainly worth another go

At first it felt strange for me to wear a rectangular watch as well, but getting used to it didn't take long, now I crave wearing it almost every day! ...

The Geophysic TS is very good value for money. No wonder they discontinued it. I always suspected it was discontinued because the profit margin is very low for that piece.

Neither have a complication or is new. But in my opinion a quintessential dress watch should be uncomplicated, very thin, PM if it is in the budget, and from the best brand one can afford. Good luck! Happy hunting
Depending on how liberal you are with your definition of “dress watch” I would add another vote for Habring.

Super nice watch. Great size and easy to wear. Has a moon phase complication. Can go both casual and dress. Multiple dial options to choose from: classic silver, black or blue. And it's well within your price range.
