Dual Time Controversy
Hi, All:
It's been a while for me here, but I thought this crowd would uniquely appreciate this dilemma. And this watch. But, I'm not so confident about my strap choice. A sturdy shell cordovan in dark brown works swimmingly with the black dial, I think. Certainly better than the blue croc mated to the watch when new. What to do with such a crisp black dial? Almost as if JLC didn't quite know either! This is my best effort so far. I think it dresses the watch down a little, which was one objective. And JLC was quick to forward me a 20mm buckle to tie it together nicely.
But, I must admit to being curious about the bracelet that fits this model. I'm thinking the glint of the steel against the deep black enamel may be just the contrast needed to bring this watch to life. And give it a sporting flavor. Finding these bracelets are a feat, but just when you stop looking...

Try a Cordovan, a black one. I don't feel the bracelet is the good choice.
