Extrem rare tool watch (missing link) Rolex Datejust - Explorer Dial- never seen!!
Hello, i am brand new here in this forum. The reason for me for registration here is my lovely rare Rolex. These Rolex came out of the safe after 45 years and was a present to me.
Of course i tryed to find out something in internet but i didn´t found a Rolex like this exemplare. but then i became a tip of a member in a other forum. he said that my Rolex could be a missing link watch of the Explorer area. There are some unusual Explorer Variants- extremly rare. Nice report from a graet person who is called Philipp Stahl.
Here are some details of my Rolex:
*fantastic rare Hands- Explorer(6350) Mercedes hands.
*the gilt dial (non crown, OCC, Explorer-style with Date, black)
*the roulette disc
*the non lug hole case (6304)- the same case as Big Bubbleback
*the innercase with crossed letters
*the riveted expanding bracelet of 2/55
*58 endlinks with a cut -made from Rolex
*A296 Movement
This watch seems to be a rare bird- is it a Explorer with Date?
this watch is 100% authentic in every screw- this watch is the whole life in family and is not polished or refinshed or something like that. Also the first glass is on it. Like i said before every part is from the day when the watch was bought.
The case is very heavy and big and the whole watch is in very good condition with a nice patina. Now see my pictures. Have you ever seen this dial? What do you think about. Thanks for your comments.
