Finally discovered 3940
As I cannot find a RG 5110 or 5140 in my country, not even a 5146 RG, I now came across a 3940 for just unter 30k EUR which may be tempting. Having tried on a 5130 (which was nice but slightly too big) and a 5196 (which sat nicely on my wrist) I am now worried about the size - googled for wristshots but they usually dont help.
I am looking for a grail/exitwatch (and also for a 5196G as daily beater) and the 3940 could do the job. Could it? Maybe I want to sell it in 10-15 years and then 36mm watches will be un-sellable? Or am I worrying too much? Maybe still continue hunting for a 5146R? Or is RG just a fad which will go away?

The 5196G to me is the best of the metals in the reference The 3940 is a great watch forever. I would think they are somewhat hard to sell now, but who knows, styles may change and normal size watches will again be the vogue. It what drives you that count...
3940 is not small
i have a 7.65" wrist and a first series 3940g. It does not wear small at all, the spacing, concave bezel make it wear more akin to a larger watch. Also think it is a watch that is one of the best values out there. Definitely recommend over the 5140.
