5170G vs. 5159G
Happy New Year to all. I have a minor dilemma. I purchased a 5170G 3 weeks ago to go with my 5146R and 5110J. For some reason I am having trouble bonding with it. The 5170G does not give me the same feeling as the other 2 Patek references when I wear it. I am not sure why; Perhaps it is because it is my first white gold piece. I am now considering a trade maybe for the 5159G. I had a 5054J for a decade and really enjoyed the officers case. I like the style of the 5159 and the perpetual calendar is a great complication. I am flying to my AD at the end of the week to take a closer look at a few different Patek references including the 5140G and the 5159G.
Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you very much. CB
For some reason I have not seen may discussions regarding the 5159 in any metal. I am curious why?

I agree with the other members that you might want to wait some more time until you make a decision on keeping or switching the time piece. On your question re the 5159, I think its style is more classic than contemporary, that is why you find not so much...

I thought this watch was a "fine" watch when I first saw it. The more I've seen it, the more I like it. I really like the Breguet numerals and the pulsations. It is very understated, but I also appreciate that. I favor rose gold, but can really appreciate...
