Dear forum participants,
I have been lurking the pages of The Purists; across many forums, for several months now seeking to learn as much as possible from the excellent archive of knowledge and experience. I have also spent that time considering a substantial investment (for me) in a new time piece.
Having cut my teeth a long time ago on Omega and more recently a JLC and Ventura, I am now considering gathering my resources for the new GO Senator Calendar Week model in stainless steel. Professionally, the complication has much appeal and I am unaware of any other company offering a similar feature. (Not to mention that the GO's seem to have the balance of practicality and aesthetics just right.)
Unfortunately I don't appear to be able to find ownership opinions about the watch or any reviews by third parties. Have these watches been released to the market? I am currently based in Tokyo so it maybe that they haven't reached here yet...
Any opinions/direction/suggestions would be appreciated.
Regards,
alex h
Windrite - I can appreciate any watch made with care and thought be they wound, automatic, quartz or atomic. But if stuck on a desert island I would rather a satellite phone with a built in clock...
