My partial view on the new Panerai Watches

You all know that, with Panerai, I'm an old guy, with basic tastes, so don't wait nor hope from me to show you the Ferrari Line nor the Chrono 8 or 10 Days Power Reserve, nor the Tourbillon.

For me, these designs or complications deserve a new case, not the Rad, nor the Luminor Case...

So, this year, the choice is simple...I only saw 4 watches which correspond to my biased view of Panerai...

The 1st one is of course the Pam 192, Radiomir Blackseal ...

I wouldn't be happy if I had ordered a Pam 292 with the Maiale, to see that the new model is WITHOUT Maiale, which I personnaly find being a better choice...
But there are again too many writings on the dial....I never understood the meaning of " Black Seal " on a radiomir dial...
On the other side, the ceramic case in nice...So, the watch for me is " so so"...



Then the Pam 26...

Another problem...
The watch, a Luminor 44mm destro case, is nice, of course...But why calling it Pam 26, as the original watch???
Again, I don't understand, but again, the watch is nice, with a coherent historical look, which respects the roots of the brand...







And the winners, IMHO, the Rad Pam 309 ( Black Dial ), and 322 ( Brown Dial )...
Winners, yes, of course, as they are very nice, conform to the Hisotry of Panerai, in their design, and in the fact that they use a reliable and nice movement, the Minerva, but... THE PRICE... 18 000 Euros...Wowowowowowowow, I think that even if I'm sure that Panerai will sell them, the price is way too high for this kind of watch...The price of a Nautilus 5712 from Patek Philippe...

The real problem is that these 2 beasts are really appealing!

And a nice view on the movement...



Indeed, the movement + the brown dial + the titanium case makes this watch very appealing, desirable.
Really love it, even if I don't love the price....

And on the wrist, as percet than comfortable to wear...
A winner!



But the price makes me doubt a lot...
