New titanium Blancpain sport watch!
Not the one you're thinking, though. The thought of a new, wearable-for-me Fifty Fathoms had me heading over to my local purveyor yesterday to look at the old 45mm one more time as well as the 40mm Hodinkee Mil-Spec version.
Luckily, or unluckily for me, those weren't the only Blancpains they had to show me, and I came home with this, the Leman Flyback in titanium (which you can see I've already switched to a SIGNIFICANTLY more casual strap than Blancpain would have offered it on).
I've owned this watch in the regular steel more than once and this version is considerably more sporty/outdoorsy in feel. A real field watch!
Question for you all: how long and over what years was this particular model produced? I'd love to figure out how old this watch is, and how many of them Blancpain made.
I note than mine has a serial number in the low 300s.
