Other than the utilitarian load racks on top, this is a knock-out vehicle in great shape.





This lovely Ford Bronco from the OJ Simpson era (mid-Nineties) was too nice to pass up.





We found this one just up the hill, and apparently the owner is the boastful sort ... judging by the license 





Across the street my wife couldn't help but get out and take photos of the huge hill of topiary. Cats, dogs, bunnies, whales, dolphin - see what you can find.




Now a Ford truck

And in this dead-end street we found a Dodge Van, a BMW CSi of some decrepitude, and a Ford Ranchero. All in one driveway.

Thinking of our dear moderator Art with his love for all things Mopar, here is a tired early Barracuda. Let's say 1964 was a good year and give it credit for being more than 50 years old.





This Dodge Dakota Sport Pickup dates from about 1988.





I love coming around a corner and seeing a whole block taken up by one guy's collection - Dodge truck, Dodge Dart, Jeep Grand Wagoneer, Dodge Van. 

This Grand Wagoneer looks mid-Eighties to me.

This guy lives on a busy corner and has had this truck as long as I can remember. You can't see it in this shot, but the truck and house and garage are all painted the same cream with green trim. And yes, I believe he painted the truck with the house paint, or at least had them done at the same time in the same colors.

Now it's time to move onto Chevy trucks. They seemed to be in driveways and parked on lawns today.

While this one has a pair of front fenders on its flat bed

This truck is apparently still working on hot water heater removals 

And this with a camper is also carrying a load

A favored accessory is the "pipe rack" for carrying plumbing supplies and lumber

International Harvester spotted by my wife, up against the hedge

We almost didn't see it because the brilliant yellow Opel GT had drawn our attention first 

Shifting to imports, here we found a old Datsun and a 914 under covers

And here a beautiful pair of M-B sedans

My wife used to teach a little girl who lives in this house. From the other side (down the hill) it looks about 5-6 stories tall. There's an elevator in the tower.



Moving on, I saw this Defender.

When I got around the back, I realized it looks like it is having a very bad hair day

I'm not knowledgeable about BMW but I liked the autumn look of this shot

Would you have said this C-4 generation Corvette is nearly thirty years old? I wouldn't 

I think I still have a brochure from when they came to the dealers   :-(

There is some kind of movement towards putting up a box in your front yard and filling it with books you've read and are happy to get rid of. Little Free Library
It's a daily bonus for my wife - as we drive around she is collecting books she wants to read. Now we are going to have to set one up in our yard to get rid of books we no longer need.




I was a going to end with this Aston Martin photo - not an old car, but certainly a beautiful one, and an unusual angle as well






So that was going to be the end, until I saw this scruffy Camaro and couldn't resist



Looks like it's time for a taco for lunch.
