I personally appreciate your introduction of yourself.
You seem to have thought through your collection philosophy very carefully and I really applaud your conclusion. Most of us have chosen the more obvious path of buying several watches, typically to build up a diversified collection. “A watch for every occasion”. Nothing wrong with that. It’s also the road I took. But now I’m sitting on too many watches and actually feel a greater desire to get rid of watches than to acquire something new. Also I think I’ve found out what I really like and satisfaction in what I have. In fact, that includes a very low amount of watches.
It’s very inspiring to learn about your disciplined approach. I think it was a lot going for it to put all your focus on quality over quantity. It will be very interesting to follow your journey and see where it takes you.
A huge congratulations on your Octa Sport! It’s a very great and cool watch and I can see how it has that versatility as a daily wearer. The movement is rock solid and very reliable. An other thing I love about this watch is that it is so stealth. I think you can wear it everywhere and only a tiny fraction will ever know what it is. There is a great satisfaction in that.
