This model doesn't get much attention in our posts despite the upgrades to the winding mechanism. For true accuracy attention remains focused on the CS while the Octa Automatique Reserve is just "easy to wear". I do like the starkness of the white dial. T...  

There has always been something about this Octa piece which I find somewhat atypical of the Journe aesthetic. While the clever/whimsical numeration is creative and clever on the CS, it seems 'contrived' here. While the power reserve seems functional here,... 

hi. looking at both watches, the Octa seems a better balanced dial. the power reserve does not overlap with the time hands as it does on the CS dial. this is a beautiful watch. Admit my bias towards a dial with a date!

it makes up for in functionality and ease of use .I think everyone is correct in their assessment of this watch.I also think this is the most un-Journe piece when comparing to those with much stronger DNA ie. Resonance, CS,Calendria &DS etc. Is it overloo...  

I really like it. Simple but sharp.
