Seems like the motivation (ie easy to wear) for this model is a departure from Journe's focus/insistence on improving time keeping and "solving a problem".
With that said if I had to recommend a Journe to someone who is not a savvy collector, will only own one watch in their collection and will wear it every day.. then this model is it.

Prefer the Octa to CS
hi. looking at both watches, the Octa seems a better balanced dial. the power reserve does not overlap with the time hands as it does on the CS dial. this is a beautiful watch. Admit my bias towards a dial with a date!
