Surf & turf Croatian style
Just in case anyone was still unsure, Croatian cuisine is well and truly kicking in Vienna. This is a different establishment from the one I have posted about recently - more centrally located but with equivalent quality food. I stuck to my non-meat regimen but my wife likes truffles, so it was not an all seafood event - hence surf & turf 
As always, some indigenous olive oil makes for a great start to any meal 
Lovely seafood starter, with tuna tartare (there is a method here

), swordfish carpaccio and octopus.
My wife stuck to the turf side with a rucola / parmesan salad.
My surf main - a seppia risotto. One of my favourite dishes, even if I eat rice rarely otherwise. With nice, large chunks of squid inside. Can only recommend it
And a truffle risotto for my wife, with some scallops as an extra - a true Croatian surf and turf dish I guess
All washed down with some nice Grasevina and it makes for a great quick meal inbetween! Just in case Damjan still thought that we could not adequately feed him here, or that he would have culinary homesickness
