Just in case anyone was still unsure, Croatian cuisine is well and truly kicking in Vienna. This is a different establishment from the one I have posted about recently - more centrally located but with equivalent quality food. I stuck to my non-meat regim...

Wine was something recommended for my wife, who did not want anything too dry. It actually worked relatively well :)
But happy to follow any recommendations you may have Food looks adequate for a visit to Vienna?

For me swordfish (cooked) has a tough texture but I never had it as a carpaccio. Does it taste good that way? -MW

I'm not a seafood guy, my wife is, but I can handle truffles + scallops....
and shark fins, abalones (Hong Kong Ah Yat's style).... Looks good for a "fast food" ) Rgds Raymond

Not had abalone since NZ ages ago but liked it lots! Not sure I ever had shark fin soup, though...

Croatian seafood usually has very few ingredients but is absolutely delicious.
I never thought that the scallops would complement it so well :)
The sepia risotto was delicious, too, though!
The local French place makes a lovely saffron risotto...
