The Haut Brion was the finer wine. It was very interesting ..
It was blind and I guessed Haut Brion correctly, but I never would have picked 1993. The fruit, acidity, noble tannins and minerality were so balanced I thought it was a more esteemed vintage. The Latour had laser precision as usual, but lacked that special something. Very fine but not mind blowing. Best,

Interesting,as that was a wet vintage with
relatively light wines. Glad you enjoyed them--they seemed to surpass their vintage Thanks
My wine mentor would agree and said the key to ‘93 was which wines.
Other esteemed wines did not fair very well at all. I was genuinely shocked. Have a great weekend,
