They are about 40mm.

Wonderful catch, my friend. That is something I was ( and still ) hunting, too. For the beauty of the movement, its decoration, its sophistication. Yes, it is a long ream. I am very happy to congratulate you on this one. It was an eternity I didn't see on... 

I know you like this watch too because I have been following you all the time... and share the same taste as yours. It is a very hard to find watch, of very limited production, but after all there are a few in existence. Hope you will find yours very soon... 

A beautiful movement fitted in a elegant sports watch with the perfect movement/case proportion.

At least to my eyes, given my limited knowledge and experience, this is the best looking Venus 179 movement, well, after the top notch "treatment" by GP.

I mean there are so many great watches made by GP, but unfortunately some of them are not known to most people. This is just one example.

as until your post I was only familiar with the Scuderia Ferrari rattrapante series. Even those are so nice I could imagine myself owning one, forgiving the fact it is co-branded with Ferrari (in general that would be a major turn off)

I have the automatic version and have been looking for the manual with the Venus movement for a while, unsuccessfully. It is a pleasure to see your. Kind regards Francois
