While Lange introduced its Sax-O-mat from the beginning to have at least one self-winding watch in its league of wonderful handwindings, GO's focus was on automatics from the beginning. However it was clear, that the proven cal. 39 would barely enter into the world of Lange, PP, AP ... Its cal. 10-30 heritage made it to a perfect everyday-movement, but not a spectacular piece of haute horlogerie. Now the new cal. 90 movement is planned from the beginning to be a base for a complete series of watches, while Lange at first did do nothing with its selfwinding movement, until finally the perpetual came out this year.
Regarding the co-axial, I have commented this issue already when I answered your first post on this issue. I am convinced we will never see the Daniels-escapement in a GO. GO is striclty following the rule now, that everything within their movements is completely designed and developed inhouse. No external developments or parts (other than springs and jewels).
