HengHeng purchased the watch second hand from a retailer with a limited warranty that's still in effect, so let's hope that it will be sent to the Swatch service center where it can be handled by watchmakers acquainted with the cal 39 movement . . . cordially, Art

Did you try resetting the watch correctly and doing the procedure in the correct order? Perhaps the watch-store employee simply didn't observe the proper order. Best of luck!
