. . . this topic comes up. For those of us who actually prefer steel and consider ourselves aficionados rather than collectors, such a development would be a godsend. Those that have already acquired an SC in precious metal and consider themselves collect...  

For those who bought the Platinum, it is not really a good sign. BUT, the SC also exists in WG and in RG, so it was never a " rare " watch. It would have been worse if G.O started with a LE in platinum, then with some non LE in WG, RG, and SS. Just a thou...

I think that it would be a mistake for GO to create such a version.... Collectors that acquired one of the precious meals would certainly not appreciate it.... Personally I do no like when a company creates a model in precious metal and then makes it in s... 

There is always two perspectives that need to be considered. And which of the two achieves the greater good and which of the two choices implies great integrity. While it may be to the benefit of the masses to have a Senator Chronometer in a steel variant... 

The answer I got was: No, we will keep the exclusivity of the chronometer version ans only made it in precious metal. I take that as it maybe will come in platinuim but I don't get that confirmed.

...for later? Who knows. I also asked GO and they gave me the same answer. The Chronometer is a running piece and why should they change this policy. Maybe in a couple of years, when it sells not so good then they will change the mind. You will see. BUT: ...

... I would like to know it sooner than later to make an informed decision. personally I am inpartial to both end...PT or SS wont change the fact that SC is a great watch!

I love the understating of SS,WG and PT... YG and RG are too much visible, especially in a watch that isn't an extra-thin model: yellow and rose/red are far from my taste. In my opinion and experience stainless steel is a wonderful material for watch case... 

given that other GO offerings such as the Senator Perpetual are also available in steel and precious metal. As long as the models are somewhat distinguishable (different dials) what is there to complain? I hope they do it. After all, deck watches that the... 

If they care about the collector, they won't put it out in SS. It's not like they have all this extra capacity to begin with. While my preference would be for SS, I know it is not in the best interest of the brand. My only hope would be is that they would... 

Their other 'high-end' pieces are not offered in steel. Specifically, the PanoMatic Chronograph, Senator Rattrapante, Panotourbillon, and PanoMatic Tourbillon come to mind. There may be others. Maybe if they put it in a Navigator case or a Sport Evo case ...

How I love the best big date available in the market! Especially in black, so the thin space between the discs become invisible... please let the date in its place! SS is a superb material (for example AISI 904L used by Rolex... exceptional hard and brigh...
