I have read it is gold plated
So far, it is running extremely accurate, and as posted, the winding action is a real pleasure. Maybe not quite the same feast for the eyes as my old Glashutte Chronometer, but still impressive (especially at the price).

These mew titanium cases have been reduced to 41mm from 43mm
Now that I own the 41mm, which appears even a touch smaller, I think it is just right. Tutima probably should have reeled in the case size before.
Very comfortable and light weight. Easy like Sunday morning.

Thanks, Sir. I suspect you might prefer 39mm to 41mm, but on the wrist, it seems "correct" as they made it.

I remember the blue dial version few years ago. Got in touch with Tutima wanting to purchase directly from them, the correspondence somehow didn’t go quite well so I passed.
Over many years, the brand has tempted me.

It is called caliber 617.
31mm x 4.78mm, 3/4 plate, Breguet hairspring, and 3 screw mounted gold chatons for a few of the jewels. 65 hour power reserve. And delightful to wind! Cool fact about the villa!

It is a real change of pace from an AP.
But Peter, as honest as I can write this, the quality feels every bit as good. No knock whatsoever on AP, but high praise for this well priced German watch!

I think Glashütte Original is under appreciated when you compare the horological value and fine details for the price. Let’s not even talk about Lange! Which is on par or maybe even better than comparable watches from Patek. And there are many entry level...
